Happy Wednesday, Tritons! Whether you are finishing up Summer Session II, doing a summer internship, or simply enjoying summertime activities away from campus, we encourage you to be present and appreciate the people and life around you. Below, you'll find tips and activities to help you de-stress and center yourself, regardless of where you are studying from.
This is the last issue for the summer. The Library De-Stress Publication will return on a biweekly basis in Fall Quarter 2022!

Geisel Library and WongAvery Library are open. The main entrance of Geisel Library looks a little different as we are in the process of constructing a better space for you. Library services are temporarily located in the Seuss Room (enter using the West Entrance).

Applications for the 2022-2023 Library Student Council opens September 6 (next week)!
As an LSAC member, you have the opportunity to work with Library staff to provide students with the best possible Library services. Last year, LSAC members designed ideas for their ideal library student lounge and provided feedback from students' perspective about the Library’s Strategic Plan that was later given to Library leadership.

Enjoy the sunset while sipping on this refreshing, late-summer beverage.
Ingredients:
1 Teaspoon Dried butterfly pea flower tea
2 Cups Water and some ice
1 to 2 Tablespoons Honey
1 Cherry Tea bag
1 Cup Lemonade
Directions:
1. Add the cherry tea to one cup of hot water. Then add the honey and the butterfly pea flower tea to a separate cup of hot water. Allow both cups to steep for 5-10 minutes.
2. Place both cups of tea and a cup of lemonade into the fridge and wait until completely cool.
3. Once all three drinks are completely cool, add ice to a glass and build the drink by slowly adding the lemonade, then the cherry tea, followed by the butterfly pea flower tea.

The UC San Diego Library announced its new community partnership with the San Diego Natural History Museum (The Nat), which has resulted in an art exhibit that will be featured at the Balboa Park museum and UC San Diego from August 12 to October 24, 2022. The exhibit features the winning images from the Library’s 2022 Art of Science contest, a program aimed at celebrating the beauty that can emerge during scientific research at UC San Diego and beyond.
