Curious about ways to return library materials while our buildings are closed? Here are some contactless options:
- Use the drive-up book returns at the Geisel turn-around, which are emptied on a regular basis.
- Use the book returns at the Geisel entrance, but do not return items to the book returns outside of the Biomedical Library Building.
- To avoid damage to Tech Lending equipment, we kindly ask that you do not return those items via the book returns. Due dates for your Tech Lending item(s) have been adjusted to June 20, 2020.
Please note that items will remain on your library account until staff may safely return to work to process them.

The 4-7-8 breathing technique is helpful in times when you are feeling stressed, anxious, or are having trouble sleeping. This breathing technique shifts the Autonomic Nervous System from a fight or flight state to a rest and digest state.
- Breathe in through your nose for four seconds.
- Hold your breath for seven seconds.
- Exhale through your nose for eight seconds.
- Repeat as many times as you need.
- Enjoy this feeling of calm.
