Happy Wednesday, Tritons! We hope you all are having a successful spring quarter. We want to wish you good luck on your midterms! Throughout the quarter, we're sharing biweekly tips and activities to help you de-stress and center yourself, regardless of where you are tuning in from.

POP-UP PEER LISTENING SPACE |
|
|
Feeling stressed about midterms? Triton2Triton, a peer-to-peer support chatline, is hosting an in-person listening space at Geisel Library’s Service Hub Room 3. Whether you’re grappling with academic stress, personal challenges, or just craving a friendly chat to unwind, our trained peers are here to listen! No registration required.
When: May 6, 2024

The Calm Cave is meant to be used as a space to retreat from studying, relax, pause, breathe deeply, and clear your mind.
This space incorporates feedback from library users, campus partners, and the Library Student Advisory Council, The lounge furniture and collection of books were selected to help you relax and reflect.

De-Stress with Pups is back this quarter! Join us in Classroom 1 (across from the Geisel Library Service Hub) anytime during the event to relax and de-stress with the dogs.
No registration is needed, and masking is optional.
When: May 1, & June 5
Time: 2:30 p.m.- 4 p.m.

Join the Library and Recreation for indoor Vinyasa Flow on Thursdays from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the Geisel Meeting Room located at Geisel Library, 1st Floor East. Offered weekly between Weeks 1-10, these classes are by registration only and free for students and staff with an active Recreation Activity Pass (free for students!). Please bring your own yoga mat and props.
Weekly registration is required.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH |

Join us for an uplifting self-care crafting event for Mental Health Awareness Month. Create your own lavender sachets while embracing positive affirmations.
Materials are provided until supplies last.
When: May 14, 2024
Time: 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Where: Leisure Lounge
(Geisel Library, 1st Floor West)
This event is in collaboration with HPS.

Ingredients
4 cups cubed watermelon
2 cups water
¼ cup lime juice
1-3 Tbsp sugar or honey
Your choice of mint, lime, or watermelon wedges for garnish
Directions
1. Place watermelon, sweetener and 1 cup of water into a high speed blender. Blend well.
2. Using a teaspoon, test the sweetness. Add more if you prefer, then blend again.
3. Strain liquid into your pitcher and add the remaining 1 cup of water.
4. Add ice to your glasses and pour the agua fresca over the top.
5. Add some fresh lime juice to each glass and stir. Taste and add more lime if needed.
6. Garnish with your choice of lime wheels, mint, or watermelon wedges.
