Happy Wednesday, Tritons! We hope you all are succeeding in your classes this quarter, and want to wish you all good luck on your upcoming exams. During the winter quarter, we'll share biweekly tips and activities to help you de-stress and center yourself, regardless of where you are tuning in from.

Check out the open reflection and meditation space in Geisel Room 621.
The Calm Cave is meant to be used as a space to retreat from studying, relax, pause, breathe deeply, and clear your mind.
This space incorporates feedback from library users, campus partners, and the Library Student Advisory Council, The lounge furniture and collection of books were selected to help you relax and reflect.

Need a break from studying? Join us outside Classroom 1 (across from the Geisel Library Service Hub) anytime during the event to relax and de-stress by writing letters to the Library or making friendship bracelets!

WORLD BOOKMARK DAY CELEBRATION |

UC San Diego Library is proud to support the 8th annual World Bookmark Day (WOBODA) celebration, orchestrated by the International Friends of Bookmarks.
Join us at the exhibit Bookmarks: The Constant Companion of Books for Over 2,000 Years for a DIY opportunity to make your own one-of-a-kind bookmark. This event will allow participants to express their appreciation for the companion of books for over 2,000 years, the beloved bookmark. All supplies will be provided and Library staff will be nearby in case you have any questions

Pick up your pass this February at more than 80 San Diego public libraries and start exploring the fun during San Diego Museum Month with 50% off admission to more than 60 San Diego County museums, historic sites, gardens, zoos, and aquariums.
Your pass can be used for half-off admission four times at any of the museum locations that are part of this program.
Passes are available at libraries and the program begins February 1, 2024.
Haven't had a chance to pick up a pass at a local library? Have no fear, passes will be at Geisel and WongAvery Library starting tomorrow! You will be able to pick up print passes from either Service Hub.

CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE RECIPE |

Ingredients
3 tbsp All-purpose flour
3 tbsp Milk
2 tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
2 tbsp Cocoa powder
2 tbsp Vegetable oil
1/4 tsp Baking powder
Chocolate chips
1 pinch Salt
Instructions
1. In a mug, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together.
2. Add milk, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil. Stir well and add chocolate chips.
3. Microwave for 2 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
